Located at McCoy and 45th Street, near the intersection of Franklin Road and Pendleton Pike, the Morris Settles Township Center is home to the Lawrence Township Trustee’s Office, Lawrence Township Small Claims Court, and the Lawrence Township Constable.
A recently completed renovation of the building has improved the space to make it easier to use for clients of the Township. Also created by the renovation are amenities for residents of Lawrence Township that include a public computer lab and the Elisha Reddick Community Room.
The public computers will give individuals the ability to access the internet and Microsoft Office.
A printer will also be available to print documents at a cost of $0.15 per page.
The Elisha Reddick Community Room is available for reservation for during all public hours of operation as well as after business hours. The room includes seating for 25-30 people, tables, internet access and a video projector.
No fees are charged for meetings held by not-for-profit organizations and small community-based organizations. Not-for-profits will be required to submit their 501 (C) (3) tax exempt letter or other official confirming documentation from the Internal Revenue Service. This requirement may be waived with approval of the Trustee.
A fee will be incurred for meetings of profit-making groups or businesses, fund-raising events, meetings which require payment of tuition or other fees, meetings where products or services are promoted or sold, meetings which are designed to further the specific goals of an individual or group, and events of a personal nature.
