It is our mission to model excellence in local government through accountability to the community. We strive daily to address the emergency assistance needs of our community in a compassionate and fiscally responsible manner. We are dedicated to continually improving and increasing our efficiency, while providing extraordinary service to the citizens of Lawrence Township.

The Lawrence Township Trustee is elected in non-presidential years held in even years. The Trustee serves a four year term. The Lawrence Township Trustee’s office administers emergency assistance programs and oversees the maintenance of fourteen public cemeteries. In the event of an emergency, residents of Lawrence Township can turn to the Trustee’s office for help. Our office may provide direct assistance in addition to information about community programs and services that are able to meet a variety of needs. To be eligible for assistance, residents need to show that unforeseen circumstances have led to financial difficulty and that short-term aid will help them get back on track.
